Recoqnisable features

Colors
Typically silver with a blue-green back, Atlantic Salmon display darker spots along their body, especially in freshwater phases.
Fins
They have an adipose fin, paired pectoral and pelvic fins, a dorsal fin, an anal fin, and a strong caudal fin that provides powerful thrust.
Patterns
Atlantic Salmon feature scattered black spots on their head and upper body, sometimes also on the dorsal fin, with a more uniform silvery body during ocean phases.
